unwanted advertising

Hello to all

When I switch on my computer I receive an advert in the notification area for Magix Movie Studio. I have tried the software and elected not to take up the offer. I am removed from the the receipt of emails be becoming unsubsctibed. However I keep getting the notification.. Can any one tell me how to get rid of these intrusive notifications please.

Hi

In Windows, Settings, Apps look for Update Notifier and uninstall it.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I've looked in the Apps as suggested. I have no Update Notifier displayed. I do have my Magix items displayed. Movie Studio 17 Platinum, Web designer Premium, Web designer pack and Vegas 18. I don't need to uninstall these do I? I still use them.

Any more advise please?

Hello. Welcome

Look for a program called something like Magix Cloud, Magix Connect, Magix Network Sync and uninstall them.

Thank you. Looked again. Found an app called 'Connect.. Was not sure. But when I went to uninstall I saw it was a Magix install..
