Unwrapping a 25P file from '25P Film Mode'

Hi friends, I have been doing the following steps to unwrap my "25P film mode" shot footage from my Panasonic HDC-HS300 Camcorder, but just wanted to make sure it is how you correctly unwrap the file to make it Progressive. Using MEP2014 premium, I right click the footage/file once placed in timeline, and select properties, and then select full frame, progressive options there. Outputting final file as a progressive HD AVI. Is this correct? It seems to be fine on my finished projects on bluray @ 24P, but just want to make sure it is true Progressive footage. (*I alter my 25P to 24P in post, using time stretch).

Hi

. . . . how you correctly unwrap the file to make it Progressive . . . .

You don't.  The video is already Progressive if you have recorded as 1920 x 1080 24P mode.  Changing the properties values does not change the video to Progressive.

It is when you export or burn the movie to disc that you can specify whether you want it Progressive or Interlaced as shown in this image of the BD Burn options (Advanced button)
