@Townsend-Walton

Hi

We need more information on:

  1. what the additional items are, and which version you are upgrading from/to it is difficult to advise.

  2. your computer specification - see this topic for details of what is required.

I have the movie edit pro 2020 premium. I have purchased additional items such as cinema Luts, commercial royalty free music, a collection theme package, Sci-fi Luts, cosmic creatures and strange sounds collection, Pop songs collection, chill out song collection, a number of transitions, and intro packages. Everything runs fine on my computer as I had it built specially to handle this program. Yesterday I received an update to the program I am using. I went and did the update. Today I got an email about renewing my update service for $69.99. I was simply wondering if this added additional effects and features and if so, would what I all ready have still remain in the software package. Thanks

Hi

Renewing the Update Service will allow you to upgrade to the latest version of Movie Edit Pro (2021). The main difference between MEP 2020 and 2021 is the newer Infusion 2 engine.

If you decide to do this, I would advise you to keep MEP 2020 installed, at least until you are happy with 2021, all your effects should still be there.

The LUTs, effects etc should not be affected, some may be available immediately in MEP 2021, the others you may have to copy across to the relevant MEP 2021 folders.

Do ensure you have a back up copy of the extras you bought.
