Greetings,
I'm constantly being bombarded with emails to update or upgrade my MS2025 Premium to VDL2026, even more so over the past couple of weeks. I'm sure the same applies to all their other video and audio users.
If "new" Magix still runs true to form there will be a new version - VDL 2027? - around June/July this year.
With the current Nvidia debacle and the VDL2026 updates to "fix" the problem, with as Magix states "No updates are planned for older program versions", were I to update to VDL 2026, for example, in March effectively mean that I'm buying redundant stock that will have no further bug fixes after 3 months time? If so then I would be buying an editor that is "sold as seen".
Even my 6 year old TV still has an occasional software/firmware update.
I realise that this is conjecture but if correct then it gives me no confidence to buy anything from Magix again in the future. I understand that Magix wants to sell, sell, sell but to write off their anticedent program as "old" when you may have bought it as short as a day before a subsequent version is released is, to me, appalling.

ps I've already asked Magix this but obviously it's not in their interest to answer my emails.
