Gentleman, Thank you very much for spending your time on this. the test you did was what i needed to know, as in it works!
Resolution, Yes the resolution is probably very low since this is a low budget $50 camera, granted it started selling for around $300 but I paid less than $50 for it. I purchased it to see if 360 was something I wanted to get into and if I would even use it. As it stands now I only use it Once or twice a year when we go on vacation so not a lot, not worth spending $300 for.
Problem is that I have a lot of "Film" I shot in Germany - Christmas markets - on our last vacation only to find out that the software no longer worked upon our return so here I am, stuck and searching.
again, thank you for helping me in this endeavor and to figure this out. Now I just have to wait for a decent sale.
I was surprised myself as it is something I had never tried. I think as well it is possible to upload that type of file to YouTube and have it work so you can alter the videos direction of view while playing back from YouTube, If that is the case I am impressed. I will try later to see if that works and maybe try some more fiddling with it to see what is possible. I will post any results back to here and copy you into the replies for notification.
Ah, so probably cheap because an end of line product and possibly an early model or tech used. Good idea to see if something works. I can see possible uses for such footage. Thanks for sharing. We here on the forum get educated at the same time when we reply to these requests and it could help future requests from others, so thank you.
If I could have your permission to keep that video up on YouTube to remain on this forum post it may help others in future.
Here is the EXIF data from your original file.
