Upgrading to Music Maker 2013 Premium on a New PC

I have Music Maker 16 (MM16) on an older PC#1.  I want to upgrade to Music Maker 2013 Premium (MM2013) on a new PC#2.  Can I upgrade to MM2013 using the old serial # from MM16?  I don't want to buy the new version of MM2013 for $99 if I can upgrade to MM2013 for only $49.  My potential problem however is installing the MM2013 upgrade on the new PC#2, where the old software (MM16) is not on PC#2.  Note1: I downloaded MM16 so I don't have the old install CD to reuse on PC#2.  Note2: I plan to order the upgrade software MM2013 on a CD, not via download.

Hi,

Magix does not offer a way to upgrade existing versions of software, but right now I think they are offering a pretty good price for people who want to buy MM 2013.

Yeah the upgrade price to MM 2013 is $49.99 U.S. with free soundpool collection.

The non-upgrade price is $99.99 U.S.  So I want to go the upgrade way if possible.

As gandjcarr said, it is NOT an upgrade, it is the newest version.  MAGIX uses the term "upgrade" in a figurative sense.  It is simply a discount for a newer version they offer to people who already own some of their software.  It will come with its own, unique serial number.

A very wise precaution.  I wouldn't do it any other way. Just be sure to safely store the disk and code.  You don't know how many people have posted that they've lost theirs.

I hope it's the MMM-2013 PREMIUM version.  Otherwise you're libel to be disappointed.
