Can you "see" the soundpools on the "data cd" ?  Are athey labeled such as Ambient Vol. 8 HipHop Vol. 4 and so on.  If so go to add styles and have your data cd in d drive or wherever and then work your way thru the various menus until you see the soundpools and then click Add and they should load OR create a different folder off of thae data cd and call it Soundpool, then go back to MM and click on add styles, navigate to tahe new folder and click on Add and tahey should load.  You can also try the Repair process in case you have a corrupted file in MM that won't allow tahe Soundpools to load.  Do the repair to MM and see if that helps.  Hope this helps.

I think it would be better to confirm first ,is it a data cd or audio? Usually soundpools are on DVD.

Insert Cd you are talking about in to the CD/DVD Rom of a computer. It should start automatically. If it does not, to check the contents of the CD, after inserting in to the CD/DVD Rom of a computer, click on My Computer then put right cursor and click on the Icon of Cd or DVD drive. From menu click on OPEN.

If it is a soundpool cd you will find DVD Basic 17(normally soundpools are DVD) and inside it there will folder like,

Ambient, Hip hop etc.

But if it is not soundpool you won't find above items. I never heard of soundpool on Data cd. Therefore, you should also ask Magix support about this at earliest.

Note: In music maker we do not import soundpool we use Add style button to add soundpool or browse via File Manager then drag and drop the needed item on the track.

Where is the Add Style button?  It is a Soundpool DVD.  I can see all the files in My Computer but I'm still confused on the Add Style thing.

Also, I can see all the files in the File Manager down at the bottom of MMM.  I just don't know where this Add Styles feature is.  Do you right click?  Is there something I'm not seeing?

Screen shot from the Magix info pdf.

Follow red marked text. Unless you turn off easy mode you can not see add style button. No.1 showing easy mode turned off. Then No.2 showing add style button.

I hope this will help you.
