USB Mic configuration

I have not purchased Music Maker just yet, but I do have some pre-purchase questions.

I wanted to know if anyone could tell if the MMM program is compatible with usb mics?

For example, I have a CAD U37 mic but for some reason I can't get it to work with the Studio One program that I'm using. I have been suggested to download ASIO 4 ALL, but how will this help with using the usb mic for the audio recording?

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it

Well, other than to plug it into a USB port, what else have you done?  Has the CAD U37 been selected as the audio recording input device in your Windows/sound card configuration settings?

The ASIO 4 ALL driver is most often recommended to alleviate latency issues (which you obviously haven't experienced yet).

Well I do have he usb mic selected as my main audio input, but the program the studio one program that I'm using keeps saying that the "audio is disabled". Now this only happens when the mic is plugged into the laptop, other than that when its not and I run the program everything seems to be prompted just fine, except for a instrumental sound set but thats it.

Now it is a free edition of the program, so I can't really complain to much, but I do want to know If I purchase the MMM program will I continue to have the same problems? The interface they use are quite similar, and Music Maker is a little better for pockets, budget wise.

Would this be the program I should invest in because what I want to do so far is just be able to make beats, if possible, and record on instrumentals I have found online.

And thank you for response, it is greatly appreciated
