Vegas 16 Platinum rendering supper slow

I am using Vegas 16 Platinum. I put 8 minutes of an mp4 movie and I am rendering it to an MP4 movie. However, it says it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to render. Why does it take this long? I have plenty of RAM

Suggest you post on the Magix VegasForum https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/news-forum/ in either the Vegas Pro or Movie Studio section depending on which programme you have. I suspect you have Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum as there is no Vegas 16 Platinum.
