Hello,

I am using VEGAS Pro 23 purchased through Steam, and I am experiencing a rendering issue.

Whenever I try to render a video, I receive the following error message:
“An error occurred while creating the media file. Error code: -17”
Sometimes it also shows:
“An error occurred with the online connection or it has been interrupted.”

Important details:

Audio-only rendering works fine

Video rendering always fails

Internet connection is working normally

Firewall has been disabled for testing

Running as administrator does not fix the issue

I already reset VEGAS settings and cache

It seems like the video encoder or license/activation system is not working properly.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?
