Video Edit Pro/ Preview of video effect looks different when exported

I am using two objects, both jpeg and I want to overlap them to create a over-exposure like image.  I start with one image and fade it out (but not completely)  as the other image fades in (but not completely).  Then I face the 2nd image out completely and the 1st image fades in completely and them I fade it out.

The objects/images performed the intended effect in Video Edit Deluxe, but when I export it to a .wma file, it looks jumpy.  The look is totally different.  Any suggestions?

My system is Win7, i3 processor

Hi,

I have to assume you mean .wmv and not .wma.  wma is a audio format.  You did not explain how you exported the file but if you used the "Export" tab at the top right hand corner of the screen, you are most likely seeing this because the default data rate using this method is very low which could cause choppy or jumpy video on playback.  Try going to "File" then "Export Movie" select "Video as Mpeg 4".  You will get a pop up box and here all you really need to do is set  is the resolution, frame rate and aspect ratio per this screen shot.  Let us know if this looks better.
