Video Effects in Magix Movie edit Pro 2021 Do Not work

joeman2116 wrote on 2/12/2021, 4:13 PM

Running the latest Windows 10 Pro - Magix worked fine until I install the new 2021 Magix

Just upgraded to 2021 Movie edit Pro premium.
It installed fine.
However, none of the video effect functions work.
If i choose brightness/ contrast and move the slider up or down - it has no effect on the video

I tried several others such as saturation, moving it to the left all the down .. or up no change.

Only the video effects in the Effects tab functions do not work

I rebooted computer - no change

I uninstalled all magix pgms and reinstalled - reboot, same results

All was working fine until i purchased the new 2021 upgrade.

Help!

Hi,

Is the blue lightning bolt at the bottom right of the Preview Monitor turned on, by any chance?

Hi

We need more information:

  1. Computer specification - see this topic for details required.

  2. Program version as found under Help, About

  3. What version was the previous Movie Edit Pro?

  4. A screenshot of the Program settings, Display Options tab and the Import/Export tab would help

Thanks for the quick replies.

I had to to get it operational to finish a project.

I decided to restore my computer to one day prior.
After the restore / and reboot , It came up prefect and has the latest updates.
It displays the latest version Video Premium 2021, I am up to date.
I reinstalled the mercalli 5.0 -works

The only problem I have now Is the Cinematics Mood audio package that was part of the package does not work
I see the icon on the left and right side

When I press on it it displays downloading on the right 1% and stays there

On the left side it displays a 1 in the center of the icon.
Any suggestions?

@joeman2116

Thank you for the additional information, (although it still does not include ALL the information @johnebaker requested) but there was no need to post one image to each post, you could have added all of them to one post.

BUT, please learn how to take screenshots, thus removing the necessity to use a camera. AND, the image of your computer specification includes confidential data like your Device ID and Product ID. Access to these could enable a hacker to potentially hijack your system. Hence I have hidden that specific post. Please feel free to repost it, with those specific pieces of information removed or suitably obscured.
