video grid out

Paid for an upgrade to Movie Edit Pro Plus in April 2021. Videos still pixel or grid out while I'm editing, and it shows up in the finished product. Feel like I wasted my money. Problem will not go away and I've tried several tutorials to try to correct it. The video will pixelate or grid out when any sound effects or music are added in the second editing line. This is very frustrating and I haven't been able to edit any films for months. Videos also randomly lose sound. And there is no tech support. No human to contact by email, phone, etc.

Windows 10 and the hardware is AMDRyzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHZ, 32.0 GB (15.9 GB usable), 64 bit Operating System, Radeon R9380X Graphics Card

@rhondabarker

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What is the program version number as found under Help, About?

Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

What is the source video format? Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.

A screen shot of the Program settings, Display options or Device options tab  would help.

. . . . And there is no tech support. . . . .

Link is at the top of every forum page, and a guide on how to contact Support is here.

In this instance the information you give us from the questions above will help us to help you quicker.
