@NickTophiliaKreations-NTK

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there. At the moment we know nothing about your computer, nor even the exact version of VPX which you have (check under Help>About). Also, don't forget to tell us about the format of the video files you are using (the free MediaInfo, Text view, if posted here, will really help) along with the Export settings you are using.

With more information from you we may be able to suggest possible reasons and solutions.

Hi

Assuming this is a laptop or NUC does it have an Nvidia or AMD graphics chipset as well?

  1. Start VPX 11 and create a new project, without adding anything to the timeline, open the Program settings, Display tab ensure these circled settings are as shown below

    Note if there is a Nvidia or AMD (Radeon) graphics card specified in the the circled or arrowed sections then see this comment.

    Close VPX and restart and add media to the timeline.

  2. If that does not work and there is no Nvidia or AMD graphics then try the following settings-

    Import/Export tab, turn off the Hardware accelerations options for preview and export as shown below.

  3. If that also fails download and install MediaInfo and analyse a video clip that cause the crash and post the results from the Text view within MediaInfo.
