It is done in the effect control window (see screenshot).

For example you can add the size/position effect to a clip and then press new keyframe button to add keyframes.

Hi

. . . . the ability to control the effect using key frames like in size / position? . . . .

That depends on how you want to animate the section:

  • if you want to move the 'image section' - create the Section first, then animate with Size and Position

  • if you want to move the section and keep the object stationary, you would use a mask.

I know how to do it using masks. As it would be possible to use key frames in the Section, creating a given effect would be easier and would not take up so many video tracks. With 9 films with masks, we have 18 tracks in the project. Example

Are you trying to create a 'video wall' ie have all 9 films on the screen at the same time, or are the nine films one after the other behaving as you have shown above and then each one zooming the section to full screen?

This discussion is going in the wrong direction. I asked a simple question. Will key frames be added in Section? How to do it now in Pro X I know. You do not have to explain it to me. So again. Will keyframes be added in the future section?

browj2 wrote on 3/10/2019, 10:15 AM

@Michal-MST

No, you can't put keyframes on Section. It crops. You can only keyframe the result with Size/Position. I doubt that it will be added in the future.
