Am I correct that none of the MAGIX programs have a voice clone option? I see the hub and preset text to voices, but I would prefer to use my own voice by cloning it, and then be able to type text and create audio for my movies this way.
Voice cloning is not a feature that is present in the Text to Speech function, nor can you add your voice to the options available, which are provided by an external 3rd party add-on.
If you are wanting to provide narration for your movies, Movie Studio/Video deluxe can record this directly into your projects and has the capability of 'ducking' other audio when required.
Personally, if I need to add narration, I use a digital audio recorder, reading from a script so as to ensure clarity and flow of the narration, over several 'takes' and import the audio files into the video editor for trimming aligning and audio processing.
