Voiceover Gate zeroes out the audio

I just upgraded from 16 to 17. I have some pretty standard things I do for a podcast and using the Gate on Voiceover settings is one of them. If I do it in 17, after applying the waveform is a silent flat line. When I do it in 16 the VO gate applies as normal. I had this same issue on a different computer updating a few versions ago, I think 14 to 15. And now it is popping up again. Anyone know the fix for that?

@jmarkcoleman Can you upload your settings and show your audio file as screenshots so somebody can try to replicate that? You can upload screenshots via the arrow button above the response text box.

Are you referring to Sound Forge Audio Studio or Sound Forge Pro and which noise gate are you using?

SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 17 and the Gate plugin that is one of the suggested plugins. I am going to screen shot tonight
