OK, I give...I've been so far outside of the box that I cah't find the lid !  What do the icons in the Template Media Pool represent ?  I know there must be a key somewhere, but i haven't found it....there has got to be a common thread .  Helfen mich, bitte. Danke   I'll try this EDIT format and see if I get it to work for me...Thanks for the responces...I wasn't clear enough, but JohneBaker got what I was trying to get across.  There are 8 distinct images representing various functions in the Audio FX template...I believe there is a correlation and each separate image represents a distinct audio function...as John suggests tahe very first image represents Ambience effects and so on and so on as his answer suggests.  It would be nice to have Magix address this as they have not and I know because I have looked thru all the PDF and Help files for the past few days trying to find an answer....which prompted my original question.  Secondly, why are the images a hodge podge and no orderily listing in Audio FX,  but in Vintage FX they are all neatly arranged ?  Just asking

Hi Gnarly

I do not know if there is an official designation for the different symbols used however this is my take on it the icon groupings  - see image below

1   Ambience (room) effects

2   Audio compression

3   Distortion effects

4   Reverb effects

5   Audio adjustment (discreet)

6   Sound effects (1)

7   Sound effects (2)

8   Sound effects (3)

HTH

MAGIX presumes that you already know what these effects are.  Most people already involved in music probably do.

You should be able to click on each of the template icons and hear a sample of the effect.
