When I export my movie, the first 1/3 is blank apart from the titles then around 2/3 is all audio and visual is present

The video is about 1hr10 in total and i have tried to export it as a quicktime movie and a windows media file. Both times the first 20 minutes of the movie is silent and has a blank screen apart from when I have put a title over a track- the title only shows up. Then at about 2/3 in it all works fine-audio visual and titles are present. What do i need to do to get it all to export?

Hi,

What version of MEP are you using?

Does the whole movie play correctly in the preview monitor?

Have you ensured that you don't have a range selected (blue) for the last 2/3, with this option enabled?

You do not say which version of MEP you are using?

Check the following:

- that you do not have the Export selected range option set in the export dialog,

- Quicktime is up to date

- there is not 20 mins of blanks space before the start of the movie

- there is not a title object or other object or a black image at the beginning of the timeline on a lower track that is obscuring the first 20 mins

If none of the above pleasepost the following

- a screen shot of the first 30 mins of the timeline - crop the image to show timeline only or put a hi res image on some where like Dropbox and post a link to it so we can see what is there.

- a screen shot of the export settings you are using - crop the image
