As you are limited to less than 4GB of memory under 32bit programs, when will the program be upgraded to 64 bit to allow more complex projects and to better utilise the power of a modern computer. Not to forget being unable to run 64bit 3rd party VST's. When it does, i will upgrade my old steam version 15 premium.
I agree, as would everyone else. Every major VST plugin has a 64bit version, so it would be win win for consumers. But.....
The fact that noone from support bothered to answer your question in over a year, says exactly what sort of company they are.
Magix are too busy raking in all that lovely cash from their 5 million+ purchasers to take time out to drag their mouldy old non-Windows standard compliant product into the 21st Century.
Every year they add more and more bloat to the software to the point that it is barely fit for purpose compared to what it used to be. But the one thing they don't add, the one thing everyone wants, is a 64bit application.
It is a shame that your first post to the forum is by way of a rant about the lack of a 64 bit version of Music Maker! Please read and follow the Community Rules, listed in the footer of every forum page, especially no 1. Failure to do so will result in your access being removed.
No-one from support bothered to answer (the original) question because this is a user to user forum not a contact for Magix Support. As a matter of simple fact it has been stated in the forum, by a member of Magix staff, that they understand a 64 bit version is needed and, we understand, is being worked on, but it is apparently not particularly "easy" to port everything from the current 32 bit version to the intended 64 bit version.
