Hi

Are you saying you have upgraded to MEP 2013 from a previous version and now have no Video recording option when you clicked the Record button to get this dialog box?

If so which version of MEP 2013 do you have - Basic, Plus or Premium?

John

Hi

If I press record I can record as normal but on a small window. On other versions (Even on some 2013 versions), there is a 'Video Recorder module', and a VCR command under the File menu which lets you record and watch in full screen (While you are recording). This is handy because if you connect a Cable TV box via a capture device to the PC, you can use the PC as a TV, even if you don't need to record.

I have MEP 2013 Premium.

Thank you

Ray

Hi Ray

The last version that had this was MEP 17 and it is/was accessed via the Start menu>All programs>Magix>Video recorder module. This acted like a PVR with Timer, EPG etc. The other option John mentioned you have already found by the look of it.

Hi Scenestealer/John

I purchased the Premium version as I imagened that it will have this module. I hope that at least I can purchase this module as an update.

Thank you for your feedback

Ray

Hi Ray

I do not think you will be able to purchase this module separately. You might be able to purchase quite cheaply (Ebay etc.) and additionally install an earlier version with this feature.
