Where is my music on Timeline Mode in MEP 2013 Pro?

Just looking for help with the timeline mode.It does seem that this question has come up before but am still somewhat confused!

I’ve added one of the included background music selections, but, when then switching to the Timeline Mode I cannot see on what track is the music, it plays when looking at the movie, but seems to be hidden.
I actually want to add another piece of music to match the length of my movie, and also, turn the volume down in a short section but cannot see it on my Timeline. (I am showing four tracks with the movie on the first, nothing appears to be on the second, and text on three and four.)

I have also right clicked on Track 2 but cannot see any way to obtain the music wave lines.I also have MEP 2013 Plus so unlike a similar Q&A asked, with ths program I don't think I am limited to just 4 tracks?i

I do have Magix Audio Cleaning Lab so know that I could put together my own music, voice over etc and then import it into MEP, but assume something similar can be done within MEP?

Any suggestions please?

Hi

. . . . I cannot see on what track is the music . . .

You need to scroll down the tracks with the slider at the end of the timeline - the music goes on a higher track number than you can see in the window - there are a lot more than 4 tracks available.

. . . . right clicked on Track 2 but cannot see any way to obtain the music wave lines . . . .

Are you selecting the music objects first?

John

Many thanks for your reply. Yes I was scrolling down, or at least I thought I was.

However it was your comment about selecting the music object first that made us think again. Not really 100% sure what I did but whatever it was it worked and that at least means that I know it can be done when I come up aginst it in future!

Many Thanks John
