@Jim-Rolfe

Hi Jim,

I suggest that you join the Samplitude Pro Forum and look up some of the posts about Independence. There are some recent ones with instructions as to where Independence files are, and where some of them can go. I put the 70GB of instruments on a separate drive.

Thanks John. Yes but IP can't find the .ytif file. I suppose there a specific place it needs to be placed. I don't use Samplitude. I am downloading the file now. I started yesterday afternoon and expect it to uploaded by Sat. morning. I assume the Magix installer will place it properly but I don't know how to get my existing file to be recognized.

Hi Jim,

I take it that you are just installing the Independence stand-alone/plugin version, not the one linked to Samplitude.

There is stuff that goes in various places, but the 70GB you should be able to put wherever you want and just make the link in Indpendence.

See this tutorial by Kraznet:

Also, look in the Samplitude forum as there is a Subforum for Independence.
