Movie Edit Pro 2013 version 12.03.04 has developed a mind of its own!
I can not edit a clip without durations, in and out points or transition types changing by themselves. Every edit I make creates another, seemingly randowm change elsewhere on my time line!
Help!!!!

Only thought at the moment is your using an inappropriate 'mouse mode' and are moving objects on tracks in addition to the one you are working on.

Well Carl, you made me look into mouse modes, about which I knew nothing until you mentioned it.
So...thanks!
BUT
I can not find the magic spot to play with the settings? The help file mentions some mysterious "arrow"?
Maybe you could screenshot it for me?
