well i'm trying to open the vita instruments.....iyou know vita's have a "learn" function that you can control there knobs on the keyboard.....so i'm thinking i don't have my keyboard hooked up right

everything else works see ..except the new vita instruments

Do the Vita instruments work by themselves, just in the Magix program ?  If they do, then I guess you are right in that if you are trying to use a keyboard/controller, and now Vita doesn't work, the keyboard is probably the issue.

Not just in Magix, but in all programs, if you are just using the program in and of itself, it usually works as promised.....the moment you induce ANYTHING extra into what you are doing, there is always the likelyhood that somethng may not work, or work as well.....so you must proceed slowly and carefully and have a plan.  Don't try to do to much to soon.  Magix stuff is so fun and easy.....and tricky.  Set one parameter, or forget to set one parameter, and you can be in deep poop very quickly
