Why is Smart Render in Magix MEP 2014 so much slower than 2013?  To the point of locking up or freezing?  It is faster to allow the program to re-encode the video clips and that shouldn't be.  When setting to the encoder settings to 1920 X 1080 NTSC for example, the default is no check to smart render.  if you check smart render, the encoding process drags on almost to the point of lock-up over several hours.
