Why won't my entire video import into Movie Edit Pro 2014?

Hello all,

I am a YouTube content creator and use MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 to do my editing. Most of my content consists of video game Let's Plays and walkthroughs/tutorials. I use several different recording software, but primarily FRAPS and Xsplit.

The past couple weeks, I've had an issue trying to import video files from Xsplit. For some reason, the last several minutes of footage always seems to get cut off when importing into Movie Edit Pro, however when I open the raw video file, the video is there in its entirety.

What would cause Movie Edit Pro to cut the last several minutes of my video when importing?

Is yours the paid-up version? If not, perhaps the version you have is limited to a certain time length.

Another shot in the dark I could take would be to suggest you do a repair install of Magix. I find if I don't do this on a regular basis Magix starts misbehaving. If I'm using it a lot, even once a week isn't overdoing it. HTH
