Hi

You may get it to install and run, however there will be some issues with loss of functionality eg the DVD burner is not recognised by MEP.

You should install a Windows 10 compatible version of MEP.

I am running Movie edit Pro 2016 Plus in windows 10 very succesfully.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I also have Movie Edit Pro 16 HD (and not Movie Edit Pro 2016) that I bought around 8 years ago and that I would like to continue to keep using if possible.

While I am able to successfully install it in Windows 10, when I go get the latest update for it (I believe there was only one patch made available for it), either the app hangs or crashes with an "access violation" exception.

Is there a way to download that patch manually (i.e. without going through the update function inside the app) so that I can apply that?

Hi

MEP 16HD is not compatible with Windows 10 - windows has changed significantly since 16 HD was released and although you may get it to install and run, there will be issues with updating, the dvd burner is not recognised and future Windows updates may permanently disable the software this has already occurred with some legacy software and I had this happen with MEP 17 earlier this year.
