Inevitable, considering that Apple are no longer using Intel based processors and have a new OS.

For many software producers this means difficult decisions on the way forward for MAC software - ie would they get a return on the investment required to create software for the new hardware/OS. For users of older Intel based hardware who will lose support and updates to their current programs, and also for those who have made the jump to the new MAC hardware/OS - sooner or later legacy software will not be supported.

ah well, I suppose we are lucky Steinberg took over sonic foundry's spectral layers after Sony and magix sat on it....
