Wiped computer, reisntalled MEP but says serial invalid

Hi

I bought MEP a few years ago, it worked fine but I had to reset my pc.
Now upon trying to reinstall MEP it's saying my serial code is invalid or belongs to another
product. I did buy this in 2016 so how do I just install the 2016 version, I just want what I paid for.

Hi.

I suspect this is a problem of the activation count. If it is you will need to contact Customer Support via this page and ask that they reset the activation limit on your serial number.

OTOH, I have seen the same message when attempting to install Magix products where the serial number was indeed for a different version of the product. In that case, if you use that same support page and log into your account via this page where you should see the correct serial number for the product.

Thanks Jeff, I put in a ticket so I hope this is the issue.
I anticipated any issues so I remember deactivating my serial before wiping so I didn't
think this would be a problem. I hope I hear back from them soon.
