wont start after update

I have just updated my version 2021 (20.0.1.73) to the next update today 25-2-2021, but after the update the programme wont run. I have reinstalled several times, to no avail, so I have restored my pc back to the day before the update and it works again. please could someone share some light on this for me as i've run out of things to try

I just posted on the same (plus lodged a support request)

I unfortunately uninstalled and reinstalled, I should have gone straight for the restore point option as I can’t get it to work at all. Highly frustrating to say the least and if anyone has a solution I would love to hear it as I need to urgently finish a project for a client.

Try re-installing the Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributable from Microsoft here. Install both the x86 and x64 versions - do not install the ARM version
