This is a re-mix of my first ever jazz composition. The mix still isn't very good because I don't really know what else to do to it. Still is my first time mixing jazz. I changed some things around with this one. I added a piano solo in the beginning and I changed the rhythm of the guitar to straight quarter notes. I am a huge fan of Renee Olstead and would like to dedicate this piece to her. The entire solo is improvised as always with myself. Please let me know what you think if this re-make. I still have the older version uploaded if you would like to compare.
For those who don't know her Renee she is a 20 year old (9 days younger than myself) jazz singer born in Houston Texas. She has been singing and acting almost all of her life and recorded some of her best tunes at the age of 14 while she was on my favorite tv show of all time "Still Standing." Renee does all the jazz standards with a few of her own originals like "A Love That Will Last." Unlike Miss Olstead I do not have a good voice. With that said I used the the instrument I play the best to play the melody/solo.
