Hello Music-Loving Folks:

The other day we (my music buddies and me) were sitting around watching TV. A commercial came on featuring the opening piano melody from a classic Lionel Richie/Commodores (Motown/1977) song, "Easy Like A Sunday Morning". So, we all grabbed our instruments and decided to perform our rendition of this song. Since there was no drummer at this session, we used the software, EZDrummer (Toontrack) to add the drums, and Magix Samplitude Pro X to lay down the tracks.

Actually, for all you budding pianists out there, the piano part is quite easy. Check this out: Of course, you can always add your own spice to the song.

When I mention "we". I am referring to my life-long musician pals: Rick Hall (guitars), Hector Maldonado (bass), Griff (keyboard).

Hope you find our musical rendition of this piece, enjoyable.

Well i think i've already told you that i never was really a fan of Pop songs, specially those so beautifull and harmonious, with a such polished sound that made all the teenagers dreaming in Pink!

But curious, or maybe not, Lionel Ritchie, was always a composer that i really like, even though he was also a composer for passionate teenagers.... Jesus, man, it's uncountless the times that i sung and heard the song "Hello", i was 15 or 16, i don't know, but men..... i really love that song.... in those days i was always in love also... maybe because of that i loved that song, i don't know... what i do know, is that you really made a great work in here, made me remind me again those days, i sit down on my couch, close my eyes and return 30 years ago!!!!

I really like this track,it seems more punchy without the vocals or is it just me Griff, any way brilliant and one for keeping.
