What happens when life breaks down?

When there is systemic contradiction?
My name symbolized all that was corrupt to society.
His name symbolized all that was pure.

And I was being hailed in the embrace of the man who was pure.

And these inviolable sanctities were preserved in those ten words.

And it is the de-sacralization of all of these that has put us in the mess that we find ourselves.

Isn't it true, alas it is much worse.

A person may end up believing in anything.

You know, if that human acceptance does so much for you and me.

Think of what it is when God himself puts his arms around you and says

"Welcome home".

What love is this?

It is God's love.

And no other love can be defined until that love has properly been understood.

If you can’t make the trip to my studio yourself, don’t worry I now have my brand new Online Mastering Service. Many of my customers are happy to leave me to it, and my wide-ranging experience ensures that you can trust me to make sound judgements on your behalf – no pun intended!

The services on offer include both attended and unattended (online) mastering, vinyl cutting, re-mastering, editing and restoration. For further details please message me here.

A gorgeous room full of lots of lovely equipment isn’t going to cut the mustard unless it’s in the hands of an experienced creative engineer who understands your music and how to get the results you’re looking for.

I personally have been mastering for over 14 years now.
i have remixed and engineered for alice deejay.

Please note home mastering and studio mastering are not the same. This is a misconception. the process is different, and while the sound of the polished track may seem the same to the NAKED EAR so to speak actually sound different to the trained ear.

THE TRACKS I WILL BE UPLOADING WILL BE ONLY "HOME" MASTERING. (fast process). music maker defaults are ok but not polished.

most people are not concerned about the mastering there more comcerned about the FEEL.

i do not work for free so please do not sent me tracks to be mastered (for free). my time is not cheap.

====================================================================================

there are some rules that are just plain idiotic. What are some examples of this behavior, why do people do it? Is it because (This is my assumption) they are afraid of the unknown? They are afraid of taking risk? Or is something that happens during the "nurturing" phase of life with overprotective parents. Maybe it's even a genetic thing.

IF I DO NOT LIKE THE MUSIC I WILL "NOT"  WORK WITH IT.

I ONLY EVER WORK WITH MUSIC I PERSONALLY ENJOY.
THIS WAY MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH CAN BE MET TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Hi Alan

I commend you for taking on this Satie song.  When I played this, my teacher always told me to SLOW DOWN!  I never could play it as slowly as it was supposed to be played.  You did a nice job, Alan. The thing with this particular song is not just the notes. It has a lot to do with how you play the notes and the dynamics with which you play them.  Watch for the crescendo and decrescendo markings as well as the soft (p) and loud (f). Learning the notes is half the battle and you got that part down

Nice job

Trish

Hi Alan,

Nicely done!  Big Kudos for doing a solo piano piece which needs not only the notes but the emotion conveyed as well. Not sure if your keyboard allows you to vary the sound by touch or not but I think you did a great job.

Not many attempts at classical, apprciated yours'.

Best Regards,

Stu

Hi Alan:

Not bad at all, Alan...  Stop being your own worst critic, buddy. <lol>  One of the perennial challenges inherent within the slow tempo of this piece, is the temptation of the pianist to speed up the tempo.  In that respect, you have done an excellent job refraining from doing that.  Also, I've always liked the "unhurried" characteristic of this piece.  it really allows the listener the space to reflect on the compositional serenity of each note and chord.

I'm used to listen to you to techno-trance version, in the classic version and 'absolute novelty', but you did a very nice job, which I enjoyed.
Insist on this genre.

Dripping with atmosphere, Alan.  Like has been said, you've done a stand up job on this.  Maybe someone took your piano stool away?  Whatever happened, this works and works brilliantly.  Gorgeous sound quality.  Mastering mastering eh?

Here to listen be inspired and improve own skill in music making and mastering etc.

Mostly make music with a movie ongoing so much of the tracks will be more soundtrack'ish than actual club/dance orientated. Sadly Iam yet to un-skilled in the process of making the actual moving pictures/movies.

I really appreciate the nice feedback. Makes a happy Happy.

Must admit that my deutsc/german is stinking and cant translate comments in that launguage very good.

Please keep comments in english, unless its very very bad critism, then please use Deutsc ;P

My movie projects are located on youtube as I cant get to upload here.

Please veiw and comment.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
