Karin, The text is taken directly from the Bible.  I built the arrangement around the words like Handel did for "The Messiah."  I performed the solo (mostly because I could not find anyone else to try it.)

 

Siggi, Danke.  I wanted to inspire others in the same way as found in hymns.  This passage is one of the reasons for hope that helps many Christians get through hard times.  It was my desire to give a voice to these comforting words.
