Greetings Magix community,
I live in the southwest desert region of North America. The natural environment has a profound influence on those of us who live here. I have much enjoyment sharing with you 'Summer Storms'. The weather here when the storms come bring us the rain much needed. Things can be very dynamic during the stormy season. I have also been influenced by one of the music masters here in the southwest who has expressed himself in this genre of music Steve Roach who in his very early days in music created music in a way that I will follow ... yet I will do the mix with a bit of my own accent in music ;)
The Magix samples and loops did have what I have needed to create this piece. And of course I have added some to the sound. Last night as I was finishing up on the mix I had the very fortunate opportunity of having nature itself become part of the performance as a very dynamic storm passed through here.
I did some 'field work' of recording the rainfall and thunder that fit very well into the timeline of this track.
This piece will have a very large dynamic range in the level of the sound, and you will find large variations and tempo drifts in the music. BEWARE the thunder will strike ... but do not fear ... there is much beauty in nature's expression here.
The Magix loops mostly, and nature's performance took the stage here. I did very little at my keyboard this time though I did bring up my Arturia V 'Moog modular' VST with the BIG sound it has, poking in a few big bold bass notes along the way.
Well it's time to leave room for your own impressions.
Best Wishes,
Mark ;)
