Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Hallo Andreas,

jau... ihr wart (seid gewesen) eine tolle Band seinerzeit und für ( only ) zwei Mikrofone, echt gute Aufnahme...schöner Song, kleine Analogie: kleine Souterrain Wohnung, ebenfalls 2 Mikrofone, eins für Bass und Schlagzeug... eins für Frank und mich... ( beide A-Gitarren und Gesang) letzteres hatten wir an einer großen Korblampe aufgehängt ,alles schön und gut... Knockin´on heavens door konnte beginnen, aber nach ca 15 Sek. fing die Lampe sich an zu drehen, folglich auch das Mikrofon, also sind Frank und ich hinter dem Karusellmikrofon wie "Bekloppte" hinterher, um irgendwie den Sound zu halten nach ca. weiteren 15 Sek. brachen alle der Band vor Lachen zusammen, ja das war in unseren Anfängen... musikalisch manchmal ne´ mittlere Katastrophe, aber der Spassfaktor war unübertroffen.

Schönes Stück und Gesang wird ja da sowieso noch verfeinert, obwohl es so auch schon gut klingt!!!👍

....ich hab mich in dich nicht getäuscht...ein großer Musiker mit ganz festen Vorstellungen....es kann nicht jeder mit jedem kreieren....coole Session....dat schockt, wie mein Musiklehrer immer zu sagen pflegte 😉

I must have been off the grid on this one, but I know the feeling as with my Real to Reel band and Vets 2 duos. This track of yours is quite an item and is very well done, even in spite of the audio I enjoyed the freelancing that may have been employed in the making of it and that is what makes it special to hear back and study. A beautiful song. Alot of feeling in this one, Andreas Thank you for sharing this oldie and goodie. Great Vocals as usual my friend.

Hehe, gegen mein aktuelles Gequietsche ist das naürlich "richtige" Musik ☺️😁 Ich weiß ja was du meinst 😉 Schöne, angenehme Musik im behutsamen Tempo. Tolle Komposition, echt gut gespielt und gesungen 🎸🎤 Auch der Sound ist wirklich gut - mal hört jedes einzelne Instrument. Deinen Gesang natürlich auch 😊 Astreine Sache mal wieder ❤️
