Tea and a Sticky Bun

A quickie started late the night before last, and begun again from the starting point of a rhythmic synth preset in the Curve 2 vst (cableguys).  Veering towards jazz, but very much on the lighter side.  More easy listening really?  Hence here it is in the ambient section again.

It's about the warm hug eating a sticky bun gives you, but how it's inevitably laced with guilt - which perhaps makes it more enjoyable still?

Magix - Vita Piano, String Ensemble, Analog Synth - and of course - Upright Bass
Curve 2
Addictive Drums 2

Thanks for listening, If you do.

Hi Nick:

A lively jaunt through the music palate.  A culinary, musical tidbit to tease the taste buds.  Just the right sugar rush to assuage any guilty pleasure.  I sometimes eat sticky buns, and most certainly am a tea drinker.  Eat your heart out coffee imbibers!

Well, you already know how I adore your unique sojourns.  Always clever and unpretentious.  And perhaps, a bit "tongue-in-cheek", but quite inventive.

My listening pleasure, good buddy.

Such a quirky track. Love the piano work. Your use of synths to build atmosphere or create a unique soundscape are always top class.

you certainly have a great ear for original, eccentric tunes while still retaining accessibiltiy.

continue your journey of music and soul searching.
the road taken is the right one, because the fusion between your unique style and experimental parts of your new songs continue to be steadily improving.
This song is one more step toward a new personal style and great quality

It's a bit weird this whole. However, all fits very well ... especially the piano playing is great.

Only the strings are a little bit too loud.

Thanx for your delicious offer. This is a nice melody with a small jazz influence. You call it quickie, I call it great! Now, I have to brush my teeth *****

Amicalement.

Hi Nick...

Yep...made me smile.  Hints of jazz with a taste of classical, middle east, and ambient all mixed together to create this bouncy piece.  Love the break at 3:28 to 3:30...sort of to say "TA DAAAAA"  I took the last bite of my sticky bun and drank the last drop of my tea!  I love it!!!  Really engaging song.

Well Done.
