Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Trish,

This is so cool.  For me...a mixture of classical, rock, pop...It's really amazing what you can do when you mix genres together in such a way that they flow perfectly.  I love this and it's going into my favs!!!

Hi Trish,

Sorry for the late response, I find myself in a similar situation to Ralf. Having said that, I have to say I love the idea of mixing these two genres. Your gentle keyboard phrases and runs make a beautiful counerpoint to the heavier guitar riff and drum track.

Without a doubt, the mastering could use some work but you need something worthwhile to master and your collaboration is solid.

The only recommendation I would make is to change the drum track a little and add a bit of variety and punch to it.

Other than that, you guys did a great job!

Best Regards,

Stu

Hi to you both:

That's really an amazing work..... from both of you, that's the kind of rock that i like, yes you can call it prog-rock  if you like ..  all the elements are there, the classical, with piano and orquestral sounds, the rock with the heavy guitar, and even the choral voices are sugesting quitte the ambient that all the rock lovers do like.

Just Love it

All the best to you

Emanuel
