  @FIA2008 Error -14 means you enter a valid serial into the wrong product. Since there are different editions (Plus, Premium, Ultimate, Subscription and so) you need to make sure you installed the correct version of the software, otherwise you'll get

  [Solved] File suddenly will not open!
  I had almost completed a song I've been working on using my Music Maker 2020 Plus Edition program, and after simply restarting my computer one day now I suddenly cannot open that file! I constantly get an error message saying "File C:// ... etc.

  @pete-thomas What does "froze" mean? Very slow user interface? Try disabling the Text-Cursor-Indicator in the Windows Accessibility settings. If you can no longer open Music Maker delete the musicmaker.ini file which stores the program settings.
