@Pat-DeLaquil This could be caused by the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver (a rebranded, older version of ASIO4ALL). If you want to uninstall Magix Low Latency you can click on the Windows start button in the bottom left corner and type regedit. Then

Yes. as @SP. stated, the Magix Low Latency driver can exhibit the symptoms globally, even when Sound Forge is not active. SF Pro does not have this issue. It is specific to SF Audio Studio.

@emmrecs I have just installed Sound Forge Audio Studio 17. I had shut the program and then tried deleting the MAGIX LOW LATENCY 2016 folder. I get that static sound when i hit delete.
