  @Sami-Pekonmki My comments are based on this manual. Sami, do you by any chance, have a DV/Firewire port on your computer? That camcorder appears to be miniDV and the best transfer is via Firewire. Regarding the video signal, you would get better

  @CubeAce I used no Apple equipment during this videoing session. I only use my iPhone audio as back up., a last resort as I know Apple files can have issues, like frame rate issues that prevent MEP from displaying the entire video in the timeline.

  @Sami-Pekonmki Thank you for the additional information. Every little helps! A quick search on your camera model led to this page from the manual. I assume, from what you write, that you do not have the AV to 3 x Phono (RCA) cable that the manual
