Resolving installation error "1058"

If error 1058 appears during installation, this is because the "Secondary Logon" service is disabled in Windows. 

To prevent this error from occurring on future installations, you need to set Secondary Logon to "automatic".

  1. To do this, press the Windows Key+R on your keyboard.
  2. Type "services.msc" in the box and press ENTER.
  3. Click "Services (Local)" and sort the entries by name.
  4. Right-click "Secondary Logon" and select "Properties". Set the startup type to "automatic".
  5. Click "Apply".
