If your videos are being recorded without color, there are two possible causes:

  1. The video is in NTSC format, but is being recorded in PAL. In the recording dialog, click "Advanced View" and set "Video standard" to NTSC.
  2. You are using the wrong input for recording. Click the "Analog" source selection button to open the recording dialog and make sure you have the correct input ("Composite" or "S-Video") selected. Also make sure that all the cables required for recording are properly connected.
