I would like to translate a video and need the original voice in the video to be at a lover lovel than my translated voice. How can I do that?Thank you

For those who use Sound Forge; I am currently running ACL 2016 on my Asus laptop, Windows 10. I have the option to ‘upgrade’ to Sound Forge, but I have some specific needs. I am working in voice over, and there are numeric standards I need to adhere to (eg Peak Amplitude -3dB, Total RMS between -18 & -30dB, and the like). Here is a basic tutorial about how to create pitch bend in the Vita MIDI Editor.  This tutorial is a specific reference to the Vita instruments and Revolta 2 voices in that they can only be bent +/- one whole note/tone.  Other third-party VSTi plug-ins may be capable of bends up to an octave or more depending on their programming.

Thank you very much for this excellent tutorial.    I have been screen capturing tutorials and saving them, so I can watch them as much as I like.   Everything has been fine until recently when trying to capture this tutorial,  the voice is so much distorted after finishing recording that is very hard for me to understand what is being said.  It is ok when I listen to it while being recorded

Justin, I have taken years of voice lessons and have sung with several groups. Your advice about warming up is right on. And it does take repeatition to get the correct sound. I'm very new at Music Maker  and am having a blast. Learning how to put video to my first song.
