Magix Movie Edit Pro - Basic Editing Part 2 - Cutting and Trimming

browj2 wrote on 4/25/2017, 1:23 PM

This tutorial follows on from Basic Editing Part 1 and covers Cutting or Splitting and Trimming video objects, including trim start, trim end, and what happens depending on the mouse mode selected. I also show how to use the Object trimmer to fine-tune fades and cuts. These are the main editing tools that you will use the most.

Enjoy!

John

Bonjour John,

Bon courage.

Gilbert

Thank you John. The best of any tutorial I've seen since buying the program. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials. They probably save people about a year of trial and error experimentation. This program is a bear to learn so thanks again for a great contribution to the cause.

John, Thank you for these introductory videos. They will certainly save me lots of time and frustration once I finally get to actually editing some video.

In the mean time I am really struggling with how to either record decent quality video, or record elsewhere and import into MEP. I have had no success at either thus far.

Do you know of any tutorials that teach how to record with MEP? I've spent HOURS searching and have yet to find ANYTHING on recording with MEP. I'm hoping you can point me to a good starting place.

Thanks,

Bob

So, it appears that I watched this video about a year ago before using MEP hardly at all. Now that I've watched again, after using the program a little while, the techniques you demonstrate make much more sense.

Thanks Again.
