  @jeremy-smith You can reset the program settings Samplitude Pro X8 and Samplitude Music Studio via the Help menu. In earlier versions you need to import the default program settings in the Samplitude system settings.

  @psychojosh13 Do you use the newest version of ASIO4ALL? You can reset the program settings of Samplitude via its Help menu. If I remember it correctly the menu entry is called "restore default behavior". Be aware, in case you have custom shortcuts

  @Armando-Consuegra You can technically record in stereo and then manually split the recorded stereo audio object into two mono audio objects, which you can place on two separate tracks. But Music Maker can't record on more than one track at a time.

  @Djronrella There was a comment from a Vegas developer some months ago that they never maintained Sound Forge and Acid after they went from Sony to Magix. All new versions were apparently made by the Samplitude team (which now works for Boris FX).

  @john_barr As I read it some weeks ago, the Samplitude team was responsible for Sound Forge 12 until version 18. Since they left for Boris FX it now is back again at the Vegas team. I'm not sure if they will do something with it.
