  @janet-keppel Are you needing a specific feature that is available in MP3 Deluxe? As a short term workaround you could use the free program MusicBee from here: https://getmusicbee.com/ It should work similar to MP3 Deluxe.

  VU meter when recording
  I have been using Sound Forge 10 for many years but have just upgraded to 17. Not sure it's an improvement. My question is: in Sound Forge 17 how do you get the VU meter to work when recording. It works when playing back but not recording. Thank you!

  @David-Rees Which audio driver is selected in the program preferences? Usually, Microsoft Sound Mapper should work fine, in case this is caused by the audio driver.

  Having the same exact problem. Ive hit the "P" key to reset and rescan soundpools, restarted the program, restarted my pc but nothing seems to be working.. I should have never upgraded to 2026. HOW DO WE FIX THIS?!

  @Frank-Pietrantoni9884 A pity. Magix Support should at the outset have redirected you to Vegas support who are better equipped to answer your questions. Sadly Magix Support appears to be not working very efficiently at present.

  level meters are frozen. they read peak and then hold. HOW TO UNFREEZE
  My Samplitude 2014 has worked flawlessly since new. Now the VU (LEVEL) METERS ARE FROZEN SHOWING PEAKS AND THE HOLDING. How to change this back to how it was ?
