  @Campbell-McMahan Ok. Have you tried restarting the computer? Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option, otherwise it might not help. If you cannot select the ASIO driver after restarting, there could be a more severe problem.

  @Steven-Wood Does Music Studio simply close itself? Then check the Windows Reliability Monitor for errors. It will record a crash description for every crash. There might be some helpful information in there, for example in which DLL the crash

  Thank you for confirming that I'm not crazy. What a dumb and weird bug. Also thanks for the "(Ctrl+Shift> Left/Right keys)" suggestion. That works much better that using Right Click>Selection. I really appreciate your help!

  I purchased two licenses, one worked for 30 days and I never got the other to work. I was sent a serial number but now it says serial number has already been used. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still getting error 24. Tryed on windows 10

  @JustRaccoon Have you tried to uninstall it? You open Windows Apps and Features and uninstall Magix Content and Soundpools. There you can select the instrument that's not working. After it has been uninstalled start Music Maker again and redownload
