@Frank-Canonica How large are these drives? More than 2 TB? Maybe that's the cause they cannot be accessed by Acid. There were reports in the past that large drives will be seen as "full" by Acid. I assume the internal size variable cannot handle it.

@Paul-Fegan If you open the Sound Forge program preferences while holding the SHIFT key, there will be an additional Internal tab available. There you should be able to activate the legacy MP3 encoder. This one might work better.

@dave-l Hmm, interesting that it shows WASAPI. If you click on Soundcard Settings button in the recording settings the program in my case only offers WDM and MME, not WASAPI. This could be a problem, but maybe it's not. If you have the Windows(!)
